Collection and Retention of Information

We gather information about our users collectively, such as what areas users visit most frequently and what services users access the most. We only use such information in the aggregate and not on an individual basis. This information helps us determine what is most beneficial for our users, and how we can develop a better overall service. This information may be shared with our partners, but only in the aggregate.

In some instances, such as when you sign up to use a service, enter into a contest, or purchase a product, we may need more specific information about you, such as name, address, email address, telephone number, credit card number, etc. We may use that information to contact you regarding site changes, or to ask you for other information, such as feedback regarding the site, the types of jobs you are interested in, etc.

We utilize other companies and individuals to perform certain functions for us. Resume

We may give you the option of posting your resume in our database. When you post your resume, you supply personal information that may be used by companies that subscribe to our service. It is our intention that only customers or prospective customers will have access to the resume database, but cannot guarantee that other parties will not, without our consent, gain access to this database. You may remove your resume from our database at any time. However, customers or prospective customers who have had access to the database or have obtained a copy of the database, as well as parties who have otherwise gained access to the database, may have retained a copy of your resume in their own files or databases. We are not responsible for the retention, use, or privacy of resumes in these instances, or for the use or privacy of resumes by any of such parties while resumes are in the database. Additionally, your current employer may be a subscriber to our service and, therefore, would have access to your resume and any personal information that you supply. By posting your resume and personal data, you acknowledge your understanding and approval of this.

Reply to Job

We may give you the option of replying to a job using the standard reply form or by other ways indicated by the posting company. In doing so, you may choose to share some of your personal, identifiable information with them. When you reply to a job using the standard reply form, the information you provide is emailed directly to the posting company and a temporary copy of the information may be made for them to aid in preventing it's accidental loss through email error, internet malfunction, computer malfunction or human error. It is our intention that only the posting company will have access to the information you provide, but cannot guarantee that other parties will not, without our consent, gain access to it. Parties that have had access to the information or have obtained a copy of the information, as well as parties who have otherwise gained access to the information may have retained a copy of it in their own files or databases. We are not responsible for the retention, use, or privacy of the information in these instances, or for the use or privacy of the information by any such parties. By replying to a job and providing personal data, you acknowledge your understanding and approval of this.

Security

EDP has reasonable technical measures designed to secure your personal information from accidental loss and from unauthorized access, use, alteration or disclosure. However, we cannot guarantee that unauthorized third parties will never be able to defeat those measures or use your personal information for improper purposes. We are not responsible for accidental loss or from unauthorized access, use, alteration or disclosure.

Protect Your Privacy

We recommend that you Do Not disclose your Social Security Number, non-work related Personal Information, Credit Card Number or Bank Information until you thoroughly investigate a job posting or advertisement and confirm the authenticity of the company and its need for the information.
